Join local author, Khefa Nosakhere for a reading and discussion of his new book, Institutional Racism and the Search for African American Masculinity & Identity in Selected works of Richard Wright.

Khefa Nosakhere (born, Kef Ventress Marks) is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Khefa discovered his love for writing and literacy as a youth at the Algiers Point Library [now the Hubbell Library] as well as an Advanced Placement English student at McMain Magnet Secondary School. He is a lifelong member of the WHO DAT ?!? Nation, and holds a BA in Literature & Language from the University of Southern California.
